Meghan Truman, the main protagonist, moved to a small town in the Pacific Northwest to open a bakery after her acting career failed in Hollywood. Over the course of the series, we see Meghan blossom into a successful businesswoman and get married to detective Jack Irvin while she helps to solve murder mysteries in this quirky town with interesting characters.
